Fashion for plus-size people is often considered ugly because the industry has historically prioritized smaller body sizes and neglected the diverse body shapes and sizes of consumers. This has resulted in limited options and styles for plus-size individuals, leading to a lack of fashionable and trendy clothing in their size range. Additionally, there is a stigma and bias against larger bodies in society, which can influence the design and availability of clothing for plus-size individuals. However, there has been a growing movement towards inclusivity and diversity in the fashion industry, with more brands and designers creating stylish and fashionable options for plus-size people. **

The definition of plus size can vary depending on the fashion industry and individual perspectives. In general, plus size typically refers to clothing sizes that are larger than the standard sizing range, which is often considered to be size 12 and above in the United States. However, there is ongoing discussion and advocacy for more inclusive sizing standards that recognize a wider range of body shapes and sizes as plus size. Ultimately, the definition of plus size should be inclusive and accommodating of diverse body types. **
